Meet the Artist

Rachel Ingram is a fine artist who works primarily with oil paint, watercolor, and water-marbling. You may also find her at a party providing face painting. Her art is inspired by personal experiences and she strives to convey a feeling or story with each work. Even during difficult seasons of her life, she tries to focus on feelings of joy, peace, and hope. She loves using happy saturated colors in most of her work.

Awards & Accomplishments

“Replaced” won first place for Watercolor Painting in Greenville Art League’s Spring 2026 Juried Art Show.  (11x14 inches, watercolor on cotton paper)

“Perseus” won second place for Oil Painting in Greenville Art League’s Spring 2026 Juried Art Show.  (16x20 inches, oil on canvas)

“Come to My Garden” won third place for Oil Painting in Greenville Art League’s Spring 2026 Juried Art Show.  (9x12 inches, oil on canvas)

"Magdalena in the Rain" won a first place ribbon for adult oil paintings at the 2024 Hunt County Fair. (8x10 inches, oil on canvas)

"Lost in a book" won a second place ribbon for adult acrylic paintings at the 2024 Hunt County Fair. (8x10 inches, acrylic on canvas)

"Radio Suspense" won a third place ribbon for adult oil paintings at the 2024 Hunt County Fair. (11x14 inches, oil on canvas). 

Rachel's painting titled "Beyond the Fierce Cosmos" won 2nd place from the judges in the Greenville Art League 2022 Exhibit Tour. It also won the People's Choice award for oil paintings.

Rachel completed a series of commissioned portraits for a local zoo. Proceeds from the sale of poster prints benefited the zoo animals. Some of the original paintings can be found for sale in her shop.
