Rachel offers art classes and workshops in a variety of art media including watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, water-marbling, linocut, and more. Watercolor Class: Painting Acorns and Leaves

Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Explore creative watercolor techniques and learn how to paint fall acorns and leaves in this art class taught by Rachel Ingram. In this class you will learn water and brush control, wet-into-wet painting techniques, creasing techniques, lifting techniques, salt effects, how to use an image reference, color mixing, and more. Each student will go home with their own finished 9x12 inch watercolor painting.

All supplies are included. Beginners welcome. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. The last day to purchase tickets and reserve your spot is 9/21/26.

Oil Painting a Cloudy Landscape 

Tuesday, September 29, 2026, 6:30pm - 9:30pm 
Location: Greenville Bible Church Fellowship Hall, 8315 Roy Warren Pkwy, Greenville, TX 75402

In this class, participants will learn how to paint a cloudy landscape in oil paint, without the use of harsh solvents. Taught by Rachel Ingram, students will learn about color mixing, working from a limited palette, linear perspective in landscapes, atmospheric perspective, how to use oil paints without harsh solvents, and more.  Each student will go home with their own 8x10 inch painted landscape. 

Beginners welcome. Recommended for ages 16 and up. All supplies are included, but students are welcome to bring their favorite oil painting brushes if desired. We also recommend bringing a box for transporting your wet painting home. 

This class is made possible in partnership with Greenville Art League. Tickets are $35 for Greenville Art League Members or $45 for non-members. This class is limited to 8 participants. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. The last day to purchase tickets and reserve your spot is 9/28/26.

Water Marbling Workshops

Water-marbling, also called ebru, is an ancient art that dates back to the 16th century. This art is created by floating paint onto a thickened water, then swirling the paint to create different designs. Once the design is complete, the image is printed onto a silk scarf for a wearable work of art, or printed on paper which can be used for decorating or scrapbooking.

This activity is great for all ages and skill levels. Even if you don't have artistic talent, you can easily create a beautiful water-marbled masterpiece.

Watercolor Classes

We offer watercolor classes for children and adults from beginners to advanced students. Beginner watercolor classes teach the basics such as how to properly load your brush, wet-into-wet techniques, proper water control, color mixing, and more.

New classes are added each month, but if there is a specific class you would like to see, let us know!

Acrylic and Oil Painting Classes
